Aaron Sorkin adapted his
screenplay
from
Ben Mezrich's
nonfiction novel The Accidental Billionaires (
2009). No Facebook staff or employees, including
founder
Mark Zuckerberg, were involved with the project,
although
Eduardo Saverin was a
consultant
for Mezrich's story.
